The Team

Alondra (Lonny) has been a qualified dental assistant for 11 years and joined the team at Mitcham Dental Clinic in January of 2018. Lonny speaks and writes fluently in Spanish. Lonny is married with 2 adopted cats named Ninja and Kiki. Among Lonny’s many talents she is a qualified makeup artist with a Diploma in Screen and Media and also an advanced diver. She is an avid traveller with a gentle nature and a fantastic sense of humour.

Lauren has been in the dental industry for over 10 years including trying her hand as a Dental Technician. Lauren has been a member of our team for 5 years and loves looking after our patients with her caring and gentle bedside manner. Outside work Laurens loves spending time with her husband Andrew and her fluffy Indian Ringneck Parakeet Birds “Bubba & Charlie” and their Rottweiler Phe.

Rachael has been in the dental industry for 12 years and is a qualified Dental Assistant. Rachael joined Mitcham Dental Clinic in March 2017. Rachael is married and the mother of three beautiful girls. Rachael enjoys going to the gym and holidaying with her family. Rachael will make you feel confident that you are in safe and secure hands when you come in for your consultation.

Michelle has been a Dental Assistant since 1999 and joined the Mitcham Dental Clinic team in 2003.
Michelle lives nearby the clinic in Mitcham with her husband and daughter. Her interests are gardening, reading and spending time with her family, including her animals.

Louise is our lovely receptionist who joined our team in February 2017. Louise is a professional administrator with over 20 years office experience. With Louise’s down to earth personality and caring nature she will ensure that you feel at ease when you visit the team at Mitcham Dental Clinic. Louise is married with two daughters in primary school and has two dogs

​Bianca has been in the dental industry for over 10 years and has been at Mitcham Dental clinic for a combined 7 years. Bianca is predominately located at reception but will assist in the surgery when needed. Bianca is very kind, particularly with our elderly patients and has a lovely nature. Bianca is efficient and dedicated to her role at Mitcham Dental Clinic. Bianca loves to spend time with her three dogs Chester, Kelly and Boss, and has a keen interest in water sports, including skiing and boat racing

Sharryn has been in the dental industry for 32 years and with Ron at Mitcham Dental for over 20 years. Sharryn works on the desk and occasionally helps out in the surgery. She loves meeting new people and making them feel welcome. Sharryn is married to Darren and has three children, Rochelle, Nicole and Luke, grandson Mason and gorgeous Golden Retriever Mindy. In her spare time she loves travelling, particularly cruising, reading, going to the football and soccer, as well as spending time with her beautiful family.

Maree completed her Advanced Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2014 at RMIT University. She has over 20 years dental industry experience, beginning her career as a Dental Nurse, and now accomplishing her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist. Maree has a passion for prevention, education and treatment of periodontal disease (gum disease) and enjoys all aspects of her job. Away from work Maree is very busy mum of seven sons. She loves to go to the gym and play netball (a little bit of 'me time' she calls it). Maree believes that life is all about balance.

Following high school in 2006, Megan started in the dental industry as a dental nurse. She has then gone on to complete an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in 2014 at RMIT University. Since becoming a hygienist, Megan enjoys seeing the improvement in patient's gum health after educating them on how to improve their oral hygiene at home. When not at work Megan enjoys snow boarding, wakeboarding and camping with her husband and border collie, Chilly.

Sarah began her career as a Dental Assistant when she completed high school in South Gippsland in 2002. In 2008, she began studying a Bachelor of Nursing, and completed her Nursing degree in 2010. Since then she has worked in the peri operative setting, and returned to study in 2014 where she completed a Bachelor of Oral Health with Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga in 2016. Sarah enjoys educating patients on improving their overall and oral health, and working with children. Sarah works both as a Nurse in theatre, and oral health therapist; enjoying the variety and keeping her daily life busy.
